Diesel Injection is closed. I called Global Diesel and he didn't even know that the VE pump can be rebuilt.
I need the bosch kit DGK 121, a 3200 rpm spring, and most likely a fuel pin from piers diesel. But I'd like to get the seal/o-ring kit locally, and the spring since it's a standard bosch part. Any recommendations? 1/14/2008 10:08:58 PM |

automotive solutions
OR
blackout autosports (shane might disown you, but the dude still knows his diesel stuff and stocks a few things)
i doubt anyone local is going to have it in stock though. i would only pick those places if you were going to have them do the work too. might as well just get it mail order from somewhere and save a few bucks. carquest on millbrook would be my only bet of somewhere stocking it, and even that's a slim chance.

Cardinal International can get damn near any Cummins part you need. They're just an International dealer...and there are a helluva lot of International road tractors that have Cummins mills in them, as the biggest engines International has offered in the past are the DT series.
Thought about Fleet Pride? 1/15/2008 8:52:38 PM |

true they are a cummins repair center, but they do not stock a single damn cummin part besides filters, they can order damn near anything, they do however have a shitload of international and surprisingly detriot parts in stock, go figure, i used to deal with them, fleetpride, carquest, and brakes inc. when i was a heavy equipment mechanic for the state
brakes inc is by far the most useful, they stock a shitload of non brand specific truck and trailer parts, and can fab driveshafts and hoses, they are the best for drivetrain parts, i believe they may even be a spicer/eaton/fuller/dana dealer, they also have a lot of midsize 10k+ oddball trailer axle and brake parts along with the full size stuff1/16/2008 1:12:27 PM |
