I was on Oahu for two weeks, where my sister lives, and it was a blast!! So much to get into out there... if you are out there for long enough I suggest going on a couple hikes.

the beaches arent that great, unless you get to travel to the non tourist type spots.

it'll cost you money to get to the real nice beach spots, but im sure you have it.


you can get get some amazing herb, shit is expensive though. Maui Wowi, went for like 25 a gram. Just have to walk the shores and ask around. If the surfers dont trust you, they'll send you away from the shore where you'll meet up with some people and they'll check you out to see if you're not the po po.


theres this strip in waikiki that has a hot ass hooker on every corner. the pimp drives up and down that alley in his corvette to keep an eye out..... dont trust them when they say its the girls first week, they're just trying to get more money out of you.


rent a moped to get around. make sure to check the moped before they hand it over so they dont charge you some bogus shit after you turn it back in.



hikes are ok, beautiful scenery and whatnot, but overall kinda boring.

If you're going to rent a moped Mopeds Direct on Kapahulu is the shit.

Little farther off Waikiki than some other places, but they have mechanics on staff so it won't die on you. Unlimited mileage, I put like 70 miles on one in 8 hours and they didn't say a word.

They go up to 35, and since they are autos the only way to wind them up is to get close to topping them out.

I stopped a couple times for shaved ice. Not hard to do 70 miles at 30mph.

Yeah, they suck but it was $30 to rent and a motorcycle was $150 for the same time frame!

I am a poor student so I got the moped since there's rarely a speed limit above 45 there anyway. Tons of popo too, so be careful of the low, low speed limits.
