Anyone attended a game for both teams? I've been to a few Bulls games years ago, and I plan on going to a few games this year. I was just wondering how the two clubs stacked up in terms of atmosphere, price, etc.

The Bulls are generally much more competitive than the Mudcats. Their stadium is also around the actual nice part of Durham so there's stuff to do around the park. Five county is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. Although Five County has come a long way, The DBAP is more laden with amenities. Five County also has some fancy restaurant in it (Cattails or something like that) that couldn't be more out of place.

The Mudcats were only cool for like a half season... When Miggy and Dontrelle were there at the same time... Sad thing is they probably played to bigger crowds in Zebulon than they did in Miami half the time...

i second the "stuff to do" around the bulls park. there are a number of bars right there.

fwiw Charlotte Knights games are pretty fun if you're ever in the area...they approve a downtown ballpark that should be up and running in about 2 years cause for now they actually play in Tega Cay, South Carolina...good times though

Bulls games are awesome. The best atmosphere for a minor league game there is. One of the nicest parks too. Also the little area surrounding it is very nice. Lots of bars, restaraunts, etc to go to.

The DBAP is a much better place to see a game, and I also like the Camden Yards-style architecture of the ballpark.
