I like smokin at haftime of Bobcats games

Theres a little alcove on the smokers porch where you're right near this giant vent, so no one can smell it unless theyre standing right next to you

DNL (no homo). was right about the nicotine thing though. it could lead to that, but you just have to rely on good weed constantly to kill the nicotine cravings. after a good 2 weeks of just having fire bud on hand and available you'll be over the cigarettes. i've detoxed like this before and I'm now in a good state again.

ANOTHER THING. force yourself to not buy them at the gas stations. that was my weakness. i don't step foot in them if I have to. PAY @ THE PUMP, BRO (no homo).

i somewhat agree with amsterdam

here is how i quit cigs....had like 1 the day i said i'd quit...had like 1 the next day...by the next day my nicotine level was low enough to where i didnt have any and didnt totally freak out...same with the next day..next day i got drunk and almost got a dui, so i smoked like 4 that night...then i went like a week without...then i had like 3 one night...then like a week later i had 1.....i cant remember the last time i had one but it was at least 9 days ago...i think its easier to quit cigs and not smoke weed but it is possible to smoke weed and not smoke cigs...it just sucks for like 10 minutes

nicotine gum helped me quit faster.....the shit was so gross i was like fuck it i just wont smoke at all

queers probly

You dont do drugs just because your life sucks when your sober (sober here not relating to drunkeness, but meaning free from any drug use at all)

You do them when youre life is already awesome and you want to make it more awesome

Its like adding whipped cream to a piece of cake

I used to smoke weed like a champ.

Then I stopped taking my pills and went through some nasty withdrawal. Didn't get off the couch for like a month. Felt sick all the time and barely had the energy to go to the bathroom, let alone buy weed and smoke it.

By the time the withdrawal went away, and I started leaving the house again, I had kinda lost my appreciation for weed. Went from #1 fan to meh...

Exactly.

Quote :
"Post hoc ergo propter hoc ('after this, therefore because of this'). This is the fallacy of assuming that A caused B simply because A happened prior to B. A favorite example: 'Most rapists read pornography when they were teenagers; obviously, pornography causes violence toward women.' The conclusion is invalid, because there can be a correlation between two phenomena without one causing the other. Often, this is because both phenomena may be linked to the same cause. In the example given, it is possible that some psychological factor -- say, a frustrated sex drive -- might cause both a tendency toward sexual violence and a desire for pornographic material, in which case the pornography would not be the true cause of the violence."

Quote :
"Cum hoc ergo propter hoc ('with this, therefore because of this'). This is the familiar fallacy of mistaking correlation for causation -- i.e., thinking that because two things occur simultaneously, one must be a cause of the other. A popular example of this fallacy is the argument that 'President Clinton has great economic policies; just look at how well the economy is doing while he's in office!' The problem here is that two things may happen at the same time merely by coincidence (e.g., the President may have a negligible effect on the economy, and the real driving force is technological growth), or the causative link between one thing and another may be lagged in time (e.g., the current economy's health is determined by the actions of previous presidents), or the two things may be unconnected to each other but related to a common cause (e.g., downsizing upset a lot of voters, causing them to elect a new president just before the economy began to benefit from the downsizing).

It is always fallacious to suppose that there is a causative link between two things simply because they coexist. But a correlation is usually considered acceptable supporting evidence for theories that argue for a causative link between two things. For instance, some economic theories suggest that substantially reducing the federal budget deficit should cause the economy to do better (loosely speaking), so the coincidence of deficit reductions under Clinton and the economy's relative health might be taken as evidence in favor of those economic theories. In debate rounds, what this means is that it is acceptable to demonstrate a correlation between two phenomenon and to say one caused the other if you can also come up with convincing reasons why the correlation is no accident.

Cum hoc ergo propter hoc is very similar to post hoc ergo propter hoc. The two terms can be used almost interchangeably, post hoc (as it is affectionately called) being the preferred term."

Without getting into it... not really. I really don't care if Weed or any other drug is legal or not personally but comparing Cocaine or Heroin to a prescription drug is pretty ludacris...

^^ I'm not familiar with the benefits of a drug like heroin, should it be regulated. Are there any? How about adderal? Are there any benefits when regulated? Just curious...

Also, I'm not getting into this argument because a) I don't know enough about it; and b) I don't care enough about it... but he made a pretty bold blanket of a statement...

I wasn't being sarcastic when I asked those questions. I honestly know next to nothing about any drugs... Though I should have known better than to actually try and get information from TWW when so many people would rather just troll...

I just have a hard time believing people think that those who want regulation of some drugs are being hypocritical for wanting street level, unregulated drugs behing prohibited. As I said, I really could care less what drugs are legalized or not... frankly I think there is better things for law enforcement to be doing than hassling college kids over some weed...
