Awesome story. I'm just surprised no one else came out with a movie that's had a story this cool before. I especially like the tough chick aspect. Every other action movie has a tough guy, so it's refreshing to finally see a tough chick take center stage for the first time. What makes the thrill ride even more suspenseful is the fact that she probably weights less than 110 lbs., so you totally aren't expecting it when she starts taking down NFL linebacker dudes with one roundhouse kick.

i saw it last night, it is NUTS. very fun movie and a lot of mad max-esque action. the end sequence has some ridiculous parts, kind of like The Marine if you saw that, but still cool. i also liked how the protagonists were fairly realistic, in that they actually get fucked up.

basically a fun action movie, the plot is pretty simple

i was entertained. i was also amused by how complex they tried to make it... virus kills people, people abandoned, government hides truth, abandoned people go all "mad max," someone must expose the conspiracy, etc etc.

i'm glad we went to a "cheap" showing though.

just got back from it, thought it was very entertaining, mindless and fun. that last car chase was straight from road warrior, but i think he was trying to honor it rather than rip it off

saw this a couple of weeks ago and loved it

the moments of comedy with the main mutant dude are so over the top, you can't help but enjoy them

and to go from post-apocalyptic to steam train to medieval in one movie without time travel...good shit

Saw it at the buck fifty last night, well worth it. I went in thinking this is going to be very mad max-esque and I was not disappointed.
