It's been a long time since I used it but I'm trying to make a logo that I can save as an eps. Now I've been messing with it and I can sorta do what I need....but and I'm sure I'm just missing something (everything) but when I save the file as an eps or pdf file and then open it in photoshop, the PMS colors render differently. ??????????IOQJW RF?LKHFN?D

When you save from illustrator to pdf it will throw off the colors. We usually get around this by just printing straight from illustrator. If you need to save it as a pdf though thats not much help. Lately though the pdf's we save have been pretty close. We recently got the CS3 version, maybe thats the difference. What version are you using?

Remember: CYMK colors don't directly translate to RGB colors. There are ways to account for this.

catch me on gmail tomorrow lauren, and I'll walk you through saving it out as an EPS for printing. Its definitely not a super simple process, if you care about color matching.
