If you all like this you should read "The World Without Us," which came out a few months ago and is almost certainly the inspiration for this program. It gets a lot more detailed, although, sadly, no pretty CGI effects. 1/21/2008 11:18:09 PM |

I watched it during the 9pm airing and enjoyed it. Definitely worth the watch for the perspective if nothing else. Kinda weird to think that in the grand scheme of things, everything we build will eventually just go back to the Earth. 1/22/2008 1:14:53 AM |

no no no, this show got it all wrong. when we are extinct there wont be any friggin animals left....we're gonna destroy ourselves and make this place uninhabitable in the process. if we can't have it no one can. 1/22/2008 1:37:56 AM |

probably but form the very beginning they said that they werent gonna concern themselves with how it happened, they were just gonna portray it as if it suddenly happened. obviously how we become extinct is a huge wild card that could alter the whole scenario, its pretty unlikely that the human race is actually going to just disappear one day 1/23/2008 12:27:26 AM |

i saw part of this program the other night, and i thought it kind of eerie how familiar pripyat looked to me just from having played call of duty 4. 1/23/2008 2:00:11 AM |
