The number one thing I look forward to about having my own kids is that I will be able to buy more legos for them 1/28/2008 11:19:06 AM |

I LOVE lego's!!!
but they leftout the Lego logo stuff in the timeline that has been around forever...
when I was in the 4th grade we programmed lego's on apple IIe's that were wired to control boards and we played soccer with them... this was the predecessor to the mindstorm kits
MAN if I wasn't in school I'd buy that 50th aniv set in a heartbeat
I volunteered last year for lego first robotics and had a freaking blast with those kids... would have done it again this year but I left MD to come back to school... hopefully I can do it again next year

I think I need to post in this thread.
Yeah, that's where the name is from.
I still have my kit from 1998 when I first asked for it! Those things are so cool, I used to play with them for hours. Just build something, make a retarded program for it, and let it go!
Good thread. 1/28/2008 7:41:38 PM |

greatest thing ever perhaps
I remember studying the LEGO catalogs. I was a member of the LEGO club they had. Every single day I built stuff. I built an awesome Batmobile that I should have sent them to create about 10 years ago............ 1/28/2008 7:47:18 PM |
