Saw it on Vday. I thought the concept was good, and it was entertaining...but that's about it. There was no great sparks between the characters and it didn't flow very well. Everything seemed a bit rushed to me. Hopefully if they make a sequel it will be better than this one...and it'd probably watch it because like i said, the concept is entertaining.

Sounds like I should wait to see this movie at the $1.50 theater.

This is going to sound like a geeky question, but when these dudes teleport is momentum conserved? Like, if they're falling from the sky and then teleport near the ground, will they still be moving at the speed they were falling and go SPLAT! against the ground?

No they don't go splat but yes everything else keeps it's momentum (in the trailer notice the truck keeping it's momentum). Sometimes when they jumped it messed up the ground/area where they landed and stuff.

I thought it was pretty entertaining. Nothing great but not bad either. I thought it was worth 8 bucks. The concept was cool and a I would watch a sequel. I wont, however, buy the movie or go back to a theater to see it again..although it would make a good rental.

It was a horrible movie, just saw it,

It was just stupid but entertaining to watch and I thought the girl looked kind ugly, thats just me.

it was entertaining and fun, but in the end nothing really happens. the plot was kind of weak, if they were just setting up for sequels, they could have done a better job with the character development, and they never really explain how jumping occurs, only that if you're zapped with 1kv its harder to do.

the acting was okay, Hayden Christensen plays essentially the same character as he did in star wars, except this time his delivery was somewhat acceptable. the effects were cool, but i'm not a big fan of shaky cameras. (shaky cameras seems like a cheap and lazy technique to make a scene feel more suspenseful/exciting).

I'd say overall, a B-

Yeah that was one of the biggest things for me, was the lack of character development and back-story. They hint at a long history of jumping yet they don't really go into any detail, but perhaps that comes later in the trilogy.

My girlfriend and I actually walked out of this movie (she was sick but thought she could make it through it). A lack of character development and setting up any type of coherent plot were the nails in the coffin. These types of the movies really need to set up a plot where we can accept certain actions by characters

I thought that the girl in the movie was hot (never watched the O.C. so Chuck was my first introduction).

i wasn't impressed to any extent. didn't care about the characters. i was actually pretty bored for the first part of it. then again, i didn't really want to see the movie (just tagged along with the hubby and friends).

not horrible, but not worth a ticket price.
