we have a delivery guy at work who has kids, no college degree, and should thank god every day he has a decent paying job with benefits. instead, he doesnt load shit, doesnt do shit on deliveries, and is a waste of our money and resources. since im still in school im not in a management position so im not gonna be a snitch, but it fucking pisses me off that he makes my job harder. i also dont have the heart to tell my boss that we get calls complaining about his complete lack of work ethic, because hed be in the shitter completely.

oh yeah i mean im going to tell him. the scariest thing is that he cant even piss straight in the toilet. one day i went in there and there was piss EVERYWHERE..........floors, walls, all over the toilet. it happened again but my boss found it and he had to give him a "potty" talk. i hope his girl taught the kids how to piss.

eh

effective communication can, more than likely, fix this situation.

^^ the thing is........you have no idea about the number of times me, (and others) have used "effective communication" and the problem is not fixed yet. i think there comes a point in time where you have to cut your losses, and hopefully provide a learning experience to someone who takes things for granted.

i do sales for the most part........and if the customer is left with a bad impression (the delivery is the last thing they see in a sale) it hurts my chances of getting a sale, because one person can badmouth us and it could send 15-20 people to different stores in the future.

i did add "more than likely" into that statement.

I understand that some people cant be talked to. you just have to realize that just isnt the case in the majority of times. that person might be too difficult for you to communicate with.

it's not an insult. I fail short a lot of times too. I just recognize it.

since you have no proof of either the phone calls or the poor work ethic, i would be careful. thankfully it sounds like this guy is not too bright to begin with, but i've seen ppl turn it around and say that the person initiating the convos (with the boss or whatever) is the one that's been slacking.
