Went to the show last night at Cricket Arena in Charlotte. Aside from it taking almost an hour to go half a mile into the parking lot, the show was great. Id post the pics i took, but with my camera I could just scribble in ms paint for a while and get the same thing...

I think that would be a good show. Matchbox Twenty did a pretty good show a few years back when I saw them in Va Beach.

One of the highlights of the show was during "If I Fail" where the drummer turned guitar player had a problem with his guitar not working. He grabs another guitar, and breaks a string, he walks to the edge of the stage where they hand him a 3rd guitar which he starts to play but is in the wrong tuning, he then walks to the side of the stage and hurls the guitar offstage and takes a seat on the drum platform until the end of the song where the fix the first 2 guitars.

After that, they joked with him about it for a while and then broke into a blues jam with the phrase "Oops! The messed up!" on the screen behind them. When they finished Rob Thomas was like, "We dont gloss over when we mess up, but we can promise you any time we mess up we will play another blues jam!"

pretty funny, great effort at actually performing the songs not just going through the motions.

I saw Alanis on the Jagged Little Pill tour. It was a cool show. Nothing too spectacular.

caught alanis and liz phair at carmichael auditorium in chapel hill back in the day. phenominal show.

doesn't hurt that I am in love with both of them and would gladly kill any one of you for 10 minutes with either of them.
