No, we stayed at the Vendue Inn downtown. Very nice place. More like a large bed and breakfast. A bit pricey, but we got a suite and it didn't feel like a hotel. The breakfast was kick ass (and complementary). You basically got to order whatever you wanted and they brought it to you. Their grits were off the hook too.

we didn't have a rehearsal (besides "you walk in this order") because the friend marrying us FORGOT about the rehearsal and was out of town.

he then forgot to let my dad hand me off during the ceremony, so my dad was just standing there for half the time.

hahaha, we had two officiants, which worked out quite well. One was a pastor at our church and the other was her childhood pastor.

The latter performed the homily and had a rather "updated" message consisting of how marriage has become "risky" with over 50% ending in divorce and "meaningless" in that you can get married vis a vis process of elimination on a television show.

Pretty good, all in all.
