Anything in particular you'd prefer to do, or don't want to do?
There's the Salvation Army soup kitchen, which I enjoyed There's the pet shelter Depending on what it's for, donating platelets (~2hr process; can be done every 48hrs) will count The food bank The AIDS Service Agency may have some short-term help needed
These are walk-in sorts of opportunities available that I can think of. I'm assuming this is court-ordered, so I didn't go into recurring, long-term opportunities 2/3/2008 12:46:32 PM |

I wish I would have thought about this last week. I had to help deconstruct a house for habitat (a requirement before the alternative spring break trip) and I could have probably had 6 of the 15 hours signed off.
I might go ahead and work for habitat again. I had a good time. 2/3/2008 2:57:49 PM |
