'92 240sx 4cyl etc

The coolant system remains pressurized after letting the car sit and get cold. When removing the radiator cap, there is a noticeable push of pressure out of the radiator. I release the pressure every few days just in case it's not normal. System is properly bled.

Am I due for a HG or is this normal?

meh, one thing i'd look at is if the coolant hoses pressurize very quickly after starting the engine (after you've relieved the pressure like you say you do regularly..) I had a 3000GT one time with a blown head gasket and as soon as you'd start it the hoses would blow up... worth looking at anyways before you tear into it

If you have a head gasket issue, why is the thing still holding pressure after it's cold? Could be that the head gasket will allow seepage one way, but pinches back when the flow attempts to reverse. Then, also there could be a pressure threshold at which the gasket will leak, but below which leakage does not occur.

Does the thing blow anything into the overflow tank under extended operation? Does the level go up at all?

Cylinder pressures aren't what I would call stellar by any means; did you check 'em hot? How about squirting oil in the cylinders? Make a difference?

What's the condition of the radiator cap?
