On paper Carolina can't compete with Duke without Lawson.

But this seems like one of those games where UNC can band together and play with a lot of emotion to pull it out.

Duke has consistently found ways to lose in big games the past few years.

I think UNC might be too athletic/strong for Duke's bigs and Carolina can match Duke's athleticism on the wings.

Thomas is underrated because he was so shitty his first two seasons. I like Carolina to pull through despite the fact that they look like underdogs on paper.

i mean, duke has been better so far but i was expecting a tossup with lawson since its at unc. Most think its tyler but he is their most dynamic player and its a legit excuse. with lawson out duke should win. lawson was the one guy that would make things tough for duke. Thompson is now the key. Ellington will be shutdown on offense and exploited on defense. if you're being dominated on the wings and backcourt, it doesn't matter what the matchup is inside, you're gonna lose. Thats all we proved.
