Once it goes over the mountains it will weaken... so Raleigh probably won't get the brunt of these storms... but if you're only two hours from Nashville you should figure out a place to go.

That shit came pretty close to where I live (Huntsville, AL) last night. I woke up at like 4am because I kept hearing this really loud sound outside and couldn't figure out what the hell it was. Eventually after I was more alert I figured out it was a tornado siren. The lightning was pretty insane and my cat was going nuts. After turning on the TV it said there was a tornado spotted like 30 miles away and to stay inside. Pretty crazy.

Yeah thankfully between Nashville and Knoxville there are a shitton of mountains so I think the storm lost it's steam. It hit at 8am this morning and was not nearly as bad as some of the ones I've seen.

Pretty crazy.
