not the earrings, i bought little clear plastic things to wear

basically, here's what went down:

i last worked a shift at the end of december.

the whole earring thing happens and so i had to wait until i got the plastic things in to work.

you guys all know about the whole me-not-really-sleeping thing... well that + me having 34290580329458 things to do every week = no time.

i didn't sign up for shifts the whole month of january because of all this.



the really sucky part is that i actually had some free time tomorrow morning and was going to head over to the station to talk about all this and sign up for at least a month's worth of shifts.

guess i don't get that chance.

the guy that sent me the email isn't responding to the email i replied with nor text messages. i don't want to call because it's 11pm.

i'm really freaking out here, like, it feels like i'm having an anxiety attack... idk.

this shit really sucks. even though it's all my fault, i'm really torn up over this...

Not saying the email is the right way to go about things...

But the guy doesn't work a shift for the whole month of January...and sounds like not too many shifts before that.

I don't think they needed to have a sit-down meeting to let him know he was being let go. I know the EMS is different...but I've worked a lot of different jobs. And its key to have consistency in your employees. Every place I've worked at, the "guy" who works one day a week can really fuck up the rotation and schedule for everyone else.

Quit spreading yourself thin man. Sometimes it can do more hurt than good.
