man i tell you, it was sooo much fun.

all three of us, me, H8R, and DonkeyButt agreed that it was funner than when we all did the tail of the dragon, but not as much fun as a track day, which this ranks pretty close.

you were right, it does get kinda harsh out there, but we each ran 6 times, 3 in the am, 3 in the pm, and the only thing that went wrong was some dirt in the bead and it was leaking air, luckily someone there had a manual tire machine and we were good to go.

so yeah, as long as you follow the lines, or avoid the ruts, its awesome.

bttt for AWD subaru powR

cheap. $1000 or under.

[Edited on February 7, 2008 at 9:03 AM. Reason : the funny part is that a FWD sentra was the fastest car out there. beat AWD by at least 6 seconds.]

There is no better mod you can do to your car than become/get a more skillful driver.

thats the truth.

but i dont want to beat on my civic anymore.

the best grounds to learn on is stuff like this. you cant go sliding around on public grass or even the streets to get your learn on.

well you can, but its not legal.

you can get an ea81 or ea82 car for a hell of a lot less than that. plus, they are selectable awd with a locking center diff and the manuals have low range. i only payed $100 for my ea82 wagon, running and driving.

check out http://www.ultimatesubaru.org i frequently see stuff going for $500 or less. an older legacy wouldn't be bad either, but they're bigger/heavier.

Yeah i wasn't trying to call you out or anything saying you're a bad driver i'm just saying sentra guy obviously knew what he was doing having a traction disadvantage and still winning.

yeah i hear yah..

he was flying. DonkeyButt got to ride with him during one of his sessions.

guy was probably flat footin' it damn near the whole course.

i really think any FWD or AWD beater would be good and fun out there. the awd guys were tearing the course up though. literally
