A friend of mine did this at a casino once. He is an accountant and is well aware how shitty the financials of it are. He has a blinding confidence in his gambling ability, and it paid off. He made more than enough off the withdrawl to compensate for the charges.

1) you have to have a preset pin number to do this
2) most of the time there is a fee automatically just for taking cash
3) a lot of cards will only let you get a certain % of your credit limit
4) a lot of credit cards take it to you for doing that

that said my usaa card has no fee, the interest rate is 9.9% for taking cash out, and you can get your entire credit limit if you ever needed to for some reason
