My norton antivirus always pops up saying I got this virus but it just deletes it

yea mine was doing the same thing, I followed the instructions on norton's information page about the virus.....it gave a bunch of instructions about things to manually delete from the registry and I haven't had any problems with it since

another trojan problem.

I had/have a small trojan on my hdd but norton beleives it is gone for good. it keeps occcuring in temp files but it came from some dirty machines i stuck my flash drive into.


is there a way to format my flash drive without re-infecting my machine?

^ are you talking about the one that references the IE5 temp folder? because that bastard was causing major problems for me a while back, and norton was convinced it was gone...but every now and then it pops up a bullshit IE window

I followed all the vista steps to eradicating it, but it would very randomly re appear. It came from a copy.exe file, and would duplicate itself 40 times or so.
