Honestly the players on this team do not give a shit about each other or the team. Zero intensity tonight. Even when we'd make a mini run, you could see the players just sitting on the bench barely cheering for their own teammates.

Someone needs to get a copy of the game tape and post the Lowe shaking his head video.

I've seen guys play harder in old guy basketball leagues simply because they like to play basketball and they have some fucking self-respect.

I see no evidence that any player on our team actually likes playing the game. One would think simple love of the sport would stimulate someone to be a student of the game, continually seeking to improve.

this team has one problem that is see and that is DESIRE.

being good on defense doesn't always require a ton of athletic ability, speed, etc. you have to WANT to play defense. look at wojo from duke back in the day. really annoying sometimes with all the floor slapping but that dude WANTED TO STOP YOU. he had no athletic ability. no one on our team, imo, wants to stop anybody. they stand in front of their man but they don't WANT to stop you.

this, imo, is why our defense is so bad most of the time.

oh, and our offensive sets or whatever you want to call them are pitifully horrendous.
