I have 2 zip codes. My home address [27408] and my "fake" (mailing address) [27455] at the UPS store down the street where i get mail. They're awesome btw, lets say my box is 123. I can get mail sent to pretty much anything as long as it says 123. Box 123, suite 123, apartment 123, floor 123, hole 123, slot 123, etc etc etc.
anyways i must live on the zip code border cause the zip code changes between home and the UPS store a minute away (DIAMONDACE). the data is almost exactly the same from both, but heres the SKINNY on the one i live in. i listed all the stuff that i think other people shoudl post. its interesting

do you go to UofA or something? my zip was 85739 (tucson according to the post office, but catalina according to the locals) --- i thought 01 was like those 3 buildings downtown. hahaha
they always only ask for the last 2 of your zip code in tucson too -- at first i thought it was since they were all 857xx except for marana. then i started thinking about it. arent they pretty much always yyyxx???
raleigh 276xx greensboro 274xx tucson 857xx seattle 981xx
they dont change on county lines either. marana is like 856 and its in pima county. but my zip code included saddlebrooke in the next county and it was a tucson prefix, and the mail even came addressed to tucson. and i was 15 miles from marana, and like 20 from UofA.
anyways, anyone know anything about zip codes? thats odd. expecting an answer when i get home from work!!!12/15/2008 4:12:48 PM |
