^^ They have a separate building where the testers are and it's off of Dillard. I had a friend beta test Gears 1 and they had special keypads on the main building, but another friend testing UT3 was stuck in the exile building.

Did you guys know that GOW2 is going to be functional with the Guitar hero guitar? It's going to be a seperate control scheme called "Guitars of War"....and instead of doing a chainsaw kill, Marcus goes in close and shreds hardcore and the enemy explodes.

yeah COD4 is pretty much flawless

only possible changes would be to allow silenced snipers or Overkill + UAV (mixing up perks) but that would create other issues

game is great

Gears was fun though...crips graphics, fun gameplay...fun co-op

zomg that looks fuckin awesome!

i like how you can use locasts as shields then snap their necks. and the crossing of the chainsaws and actually seeing the locasts body cut in half rather then a gory blood effect.

btw, my boss helped launch the company that specializes in video game lip syncing and i believe it's still used in a lot of epic's games...i forget their name though.

It's really CliffyB... he had a thing a few years back on his blog about how addicting the wolf web was...

So the chainsaw... is it going to be the same action everytime you cut somebody in half or is it going to be location independent where if you swipe at a leg the leg will come off at that point? the first one it was just a melle(sp?) attack and it had no control of the swipe... but it would be cool to selectively chop off body parts...

^^ I'd really just like the chainsaw to be more useful in the campaign. In the first one I could almost always take out everyone before they got anywhere near me and rarely ever had the felling of "shit! I'm being overwhelmed!" Most of the time when I used the chainsaw it was more for novelty than actually needing to use it to survive. It looks like they may have done a better job of this based on the demo video of the second level with the locust crawling up on your vehicle from all directions.

and it's like some people aren't satisfied just chasing the girls away from tww, they have to try to chase the one game developer who posts here every now and then away too.
