need to get a quick answer if possible, thats it why its in chit chat.
so the car is $31,800 that is not including TT&L and doc and all that crap.
$6000 is the down payment. now, the car would be financed at $25,800 correct?
not sure why "Amount financed" is $30,800
here is the line, i tried to take a picture, but it wasnt clear enough
APR=2.9% Finance Charge (The dollar amount the credit will cost you)=$2360.20 Amount Financed (The amount of credit provided to you or on your behalf)=$30,749 (shouldnt it be $25,800)? Total of Payments (the amount you will have paid after you have made all payments as scheduled)=$33,109.20 Total Sale Price (The total cost of your purchase on credit, including your down payment of) $6000 is $39,109.20
whats up with that $39,109 deal? 2/21/2008 9:55:19 PM |

I would think the amount financed would be about $27,048. This is the $25,800 with tax, tag, and typical doc fee. I used to sell cars and the amount financed number we showed would be that 27,048. Not sure where they got the 30,800 from.
Also, this is assuming this is in NC 2/21/2008 10:56:11 PM |

this shit is why I'd never buy a car from a dealer. They always try to screw you over. Some unsuspecting people will probably sign the documents without knowing. 2/21/2008 11:10:28 PM |

actually, that does look sheisty. You need to figure out what the price of the car is before the down payment. On that page, it looks like $30,749 dollar bux.

yes the bottom line with "total sale price" is always going to reflect the total amount paid at the end of the loan with interest, ttt, downpayment etc....
If you want to double check for yourself- download "vorton financial tools" pretty quick download and free... It will allow you to plug in all the numbers and lines and calculate to ensure ur not getting hit with any hidden fees. 2/21/2008 11:54:01 PM |

there was also extended warranty and wheel/tire package purchased. i need to see if that plays a roll in all of this. 2/21/2008 11:55:14 PM |

ok, well those numbers include the $3170 options added on. so that is kind of straitened out.
but, they are still financing the car at 32500 (retail) instead of the 31800 that the car was agreed on (those numbers are before TTL). so in a way, they are still screwing with the buyer 2/22/2008 12:04:03 AM |

tell them not to fuck around, or you're gonna post it on TWW. They potentially could lose more than 50,000 customers. (I'm just guessing on the number of registered users on here, probably too high) 2/22/2008 12:27:53 AM |
