Dell Dimension 4600
Dell Power Supply
Dell Case
Pentium 4 2.4 ghz "c", I believe
2 x 128 DDR Ram
2 x 256 DDR Ram
SB Live Sound Card

The computer has power, the motherboard error lights indicate a memory problem. However, I feel as if there is something wrong with the motherboard.

after about a year - or shortly after the standard warranty expired--power supplies in some machines began to fail. Worse, Dell's customer support misdiagnosed some of these problems as motherboard failures.
