I recently rediscovered the greatness of orange slices!

I cut them up for my softball team when we had 4 games one day...and since then I've tried to keep oranges in my fridge for a snack. I'm currently out of stock right now and it makes me sad!1

Omega 3 in kiwis? In OJ?

I think you are talking about Vitamin C. Omega 3 is a type of fat found in oily fish and some plant sources (some nuts and seeds).

BTW, I am the only one I know who eats as much of an orange as I do.

I cut an orange up into quarters, then holding onto the skin, I put the flesh into my mouth and suck out as much flesh and juice as I can. I suspect then everybody throws away the rest.

Then with my nails and fingers, I remove the remaining fibrous flesh from the skin and eat it, so that all that is left is the pith on the inside of the skin. Then I also remove as many layers of the pith as I can with my fingers and eat it. Not only do I like pith (it is mostly tasteless but nice texture upon chewing), it is also good for you.

I know some people cut into the skin of a whole orange as if they are making sections, and then peel off the skin. Any white stuff (pith) that is left on the orange is then plucked off and thrown away. And some people upon chewing the sections, spit out all the fibrous material.

I constantly buy theose variety bags at the grocery store that comes with 4 green apples, 4 red, and 4 oranges. Then a bundle of banannas. Not sure what the unit of bananna is called.
