slickdeals.net?

2 things

1) some of those people are REALLY fucking cheap

2) some of those people will buy anything if its on sale, thus probably causing them to spend more money on stuff than they would have saved otherwise

And they'll take ANYthing if it's free. The other day they had a free million-dollar bill and apparently after it had been up for a while the promo ended, and they were getting really worked up over missing the deal.

I've only posted on his name accidentally once or twice when I was using his computer and not paying attention. And as far as I know he only posts things under my name like "horny" or something trying to embarrass me. I guess we just share a similar skewed perspective on the world.

it's insane the lengths these people will go to for the best deal.

back when Amazon was giving away 5-7 dvds with certain HD-DVD players, people were finding a very small window of time after their order was prepared and before it was shipped where they could cancel the free dvds on their order for a discount of the retail price of each DVD.

I remember reading about several people trying this, and if it didn't work canceling and trying over and over again. Absolutely pathetic

I think it's funny when they sign up for stuff without reading it and the either bitch about it endlessly when they find out what they signed up for or ask a ton of questions that they really should know the answers to.

hello, i'm quagmire02...pleased to meet you!

i do this all the time...i NEVER buy anything (that i don't need) that i can't sell again for much more than i paid for it...i've got a word document with 4 pages of pending rebates (which i rarely miss, but i've been screwed before and probably will be in the future)...over the course of 3 years, by my calculations (taking money out for postage and envelopes), i've made over $9000 on purchasing things i didn't need and then turned right around and sold on craigslist alone

i'm okay with that, really...i don't know how much time i've "wasted" filling out rebate forms, and calling rebate companies with complaints, but it would have to be A LOT of time to discount the $9k i've made off it
