Car: 2002 Buick Century
Problem 1: About 2 weeks ago, I look down to see my "Low Tire" light on and when I get home, I've got a flat tire in the right rear. It was so bad that I couldn't patch it, so I went out and bought a new tire. Ever since then, the "Low Tire" light has stayed on. I have pressed the reset button in the Fuse Box several times and that didn't do anything. Should I unplug the battery?
Thats really not the bad part. I don't care about a stupid light.
Problem 2: The part that is weird is the noises my car makes sometimes. Occasionally, when braking in a turn, the anti-lock brakes will go nuts. Even sometimes when I'm not turning, but just braking, they will act like I'm on ice. It also sounds like sometimes when I start the car up, the car tries to stabilize itself and is pumping up the suspension making a loud noise.
I think the problems are related because problem 2 didn't occur until after problem 1.

As far as wheel pressure sensors go, if all the wheels (including the spare) are not within 10% of eachother the light will be on. The light on the dash from this won't be reset by unplugging the battery. 2/25/2008 9:32:48 PM |
