I don't know, in middle school, my mom was an out-of-work drunk who used to tell me stories about my loser stoner father, who used to sell drugs at said middle school.

I guess I was scared off of it and used other means to escape reality. Now those means are gone and I want booze and weed, dammit. Sigh.
