I have this OCD issue where I make lists about absolutely everything. So I made a list of my 50 favorite albums from 2007. In any case, I like hearing other opinions and possibly finding out about new music. So what was YOUR favorite album(s) from 2007?

Mine:
1. "Neon Bible" - Arcade Fire
2. "In Rainbows" - Radiohead
3. "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" - Modest Mouse
4. "Myths of the Near Future" - Klaxons
5. "A Weekend In The City" - Bloc Party
6. "Echoes, Silence, Patience, Grace" - Foo Fighters
7. "Favourite Worst Nightmare" - Arctic Monkeys
8. "Blackbird" - Alter Bridge
9. "The Good, The Bad, and the Queen" - The Good, the Bad, and the Queen
10. "Minutes to Midnight" - Linkin Park

Note that I absolutely loathed the LP album at first, but for some reason it did a complete 180 and grew on me out of nowhere.

Here is an idea: stop making threads until you have been on this site more than a few minutes. This thread has already been done multiple times. Not to mention the fact that no one cares what some freshman discovered on WKNC.

Hey, teh_toch, go fuck yourself.

There's no rule that says I can't make threads. This is a fucking public forum, get over it. "Nobody cares" what some freshman thinks? Probably true, but I doubt anyone really gives a shit about anyone else's opinions on this site, freshman or not. This is a forum to discuss opinions and music and movies and whatever else. Deal with it. I've never even heard of WKNC, I don't know what that is, unless it's the NCSU radio station, and if it is then I've never listened to it. I don't even own a radio, not even in my car.

Summary: You're a prick, this is a forum for opinions, and I'm expressing mine.

^^^^ Meh, what can I say, I still have a soft spot in my heart for good, old fashioned Rock.

^^^ Sorry, I'll use search from now on. Thanks for being civil about it.

^^ Haha, I hear I should read NME too, the only time I ever see NME news is when it's on digg.com.

alter bridge is definitely not some 'good' rock. and the foo fighters are several albums past their prime of ever releasing an album i would consider for my top 10 in a year. yes i own the album but it was mediocre at best.

at least you had the radiohead album, even if it was a bit overrated imo

but PS just keep in mind that since youre new, a lot of these topics have already been made. its ok to discuss them, but please keep your thoughts in a related topic if it already exists otherwise it will get locked so as not to clutter up the forums.

Could not stand that album. Although I am not the biggest radio head fan, most of the songs on there were so bad I couldnt even finish them.

Actually, it's not.

Anywho, I think I posted my top 10 in one of the threads we already did about this.

oracular spectacular is one of the biggest disappoints. they managed to make several of their songs worse...even their demo myspace version of electric feel is better than the album version.

I completely forgot about that album, it was incredible.

And this is the first time I've heard a Radiohead fan say they didn't like In Rainbows. I'm a HUGE Radiohead fan, and I thought it topped Kid A and came close to OKC in my book.
