I have this OCD issue where I make lists about absolutely everything. So I made a list of my 50 favorite albums from 2007. In any case, I like hearing other opinions and possibly finding out about new music. So what was YOUR favorite album(s) from 2007?
Mine: 1. "Neon Bible" - Arcade Fire 2. "In Rainbows" - Radiohead 3. "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" - Modest Mouse 4. "Myths of the Near Future" - Klaxons 5. "A Weekend In The City" - Bloc Party 6. "Echoes, Silence, Patience, Grace" - Foo Fighters 7. "Favourite Worst Nightmare" - Arctic Monkeys 8. "Blackbird" - Alter Bridge 9. "The Good, The Bad, and the Queen" - The Good, the Bad, and the Queen 10. "Minutes to Midnight" - Linkin Park
Note that I absolutely loathed the LP album at first, but for some reason it did a complete 180 and grew on me out of nowhere. 2/27/2008 7:07:32 PM |

Here is an idea: stop making threads until you have been on this site more than a few minutes. This thread has already been done multiple times. Not to mention the fact that no one cares what some freshman discovered on WKNC. 2/27/2008 7:15:10 PM |

Hey, teh_toch, go fuck yourself.
There's no rule that says I can't make threads. This is a fucking public forum, get over it. "Nobody cares" what some freshman thinks? Probably true, but I doubt anyone really gives a shit about anyone else's opinions on this site, freshman or not. This is a forum to discuss opinions and music and movies and whatever else. Deal with it. I've never even heard of WKNC, I don't know what that is, unless it's the NCSU radio station, and if it is then I've never listened to it. I don't even own a radio, not even in my car.
Summary: You're a prick, this is a forum for opinions, and I'm expressing mine. 2/27/2008 8:45:19 PM |

^^^^ Meh, what can I say, I still have a soft spot in my heart for good, old fashioned Rock.
^^^ Sorry, I'll use search from now on. Thanks for being civil about it.
^^ Haha, I hear I should read NME too, the only time I ever see NME news is when it's on digg.com. 2/27/2008 10:01:51 PM |

alter bridge is definitely not some 'good' rock. and the foo fighters are several albums past their prime of ever releasing an album i would consider for my top 10 in a year. yes i own the album but it was mediocre at best.
at least you had the radiohead album, even if it was a bit overrated imo
but PS just keep in mind that since youre new, a lot of these topics have already been made. its ok to discuss them, but please keep your thoughts in a related topic if it already exists otherwise it will get locked so as not to clutter up the forums.

Could not stand that album. Although I am not the biggest radio head fan, most of the songs on there were so bad I couldnt even finish them.2/27/2008 11:29:48 PM |

oracular spectacular is one of the biggest disappoints. they managed to make several of their songs worse...even their demo myspace version of electric feel is better than the album version. 2/28/2008 12:05:29 AM |

I completely forgot about that album, it was incredible.
And this is the first time I've heard a Radiohead fan say they didn't like In Rainbows. I'm a HUGE Radiohead fan, and I thought it topped Kid A and came close to OKC in my book. 2/28/2008 2:33:00 AM |
