I just can't get over how our leading scorer last year isn't even on the starting line up this year. GG

Becuase he gained about 20 lbs, got even more lazy, doesn't hustle, doesn't play defense, and is a completely different player this year

you are right, he is getting (on average) 9 min less per game this year, which equates to 7.7 less points per game. I guess the part that just upsets me is his lack of defense and lack of effort. I can't stand seeing him just camping on the 3 point line. I have to give him a little slack, the rest of the team isn't doing much better.

There's always next year? Isn't that what we said last year?

I actually don't dislike Costner personally. People don't realize he had a knee injury this past summer and that is why he wasn't in the greatest shape coming in to the year. That said, his seeming lack of hustle this year is disconcerting but so is completely abandoning the style of play that many of the more experienced players on this team are suited for.

No one wants to watch the Princeton offense but last year I was really a big Sid fan because we played a more uptempo offense but still had tendencies in it that played to the strengths of the player (specifically Costner and McCauley). This year we just do just about EVERYTHING through a guy who can't pass out of a double and ignore the play that actually made us look good at the end of the year...
