I am so thankful for February 29th and the leap year! I am in sales and work on a progressive commission structure with salary. I make 3x my normal commission rate when I hit my monthly goal of $60,000 gross sales. As of yesterday, I was at $56,000 in sales which would pay $1,120 in commission at 2% plus salary.

However, since 2008 is a glorious Leap Year, my $5,500 in sales so far on February 29th, 2008 have pushed me to $61,500, which pays me $3,690 in commission at 6%. With salary included, February of 2008 has been very, very good to me.

I CAN'T WAIT TIL 2012!

I like February 29th, because the number 29 is the sum of three consecutive squares.
