the story behind the quote:

my mom sends me links to pictures and themed galleries on these photography sites (the ones i talked about in message_topic.aspx?topic=514680) when she sees ones she likes -- basically its her version of annoying forward emails. anyways, we went to lunch today and she was talking about one in particular.

one of the galleries she sent the other day was portraits of african tribe people, the focus was like their clothing and jewelery and stuff. anyways, she was expressing her "jealousy" at not being a full time photographer, and she said "you know, it would be so awesome to take off and photograph stuff like this guy. I REALLY WANA TO GO TO AFRICA AND SHOOT ALL THE PEOPLE THERE like that"

i guess people into photography call taking pictures "shooting" - anyways. i couldnt help it, i busted out laughing in the middle of all these people. not only was it hilarious to me, but i was wondering if anyone else around heard that part and mistook her for some racist redneck on a mission.

anyways if you have good stories tell em. and you cant pick on my story for sucking until at least sunday afternoon, cause you're on tww on friday night!

EMCE has her number, and she totally LOVES him (like she really considers him her third! son). so have him call her up, i'm sure she has one she gave me one nikon coolpix that was like 9 megapixels or something, and like totally badass, and she referred to it as a "crappy point and shoot"

so if you really need one ask her. emce has a better chance than me, ive already met my camera quota

I think she liked me after I showed her my pics on my camera. The pics we took of those dogs playing were pretty good. Plus I showed her the ones from the concert. She needs to hook a sista up!

yeah i wouldnt put her in an old folks home though. shes always been a good mom. she only left me in jail once and it was cause i got pulled after drinking (i wasnt .08 drunk, i was 0.04, but i wasnt 21 so i got arrested). she hates some drunk drivers. i seriously would have gotten out of jail that night if i had stabbed someone (assuming the same bail haha)

in this weeks installment of JESUS FUCKING LOVES ME, the natural science center here in greensboro has a mini zoo park, and they have added MEERKATS



and if anyone remembers my old old website, I LOVE MEERKATS. and now they have a bunch living like 2 miles away. plus they have them on billboards around town. like oversized boards and the meerkat is standing there with his head like 20 feet up above the top of the sign. fucking awesome

on a related note, i saw another cool billboard today. picture of ben franklin. caption, "go fly a kite"

DAMN, is that for ps3 or xbox or some console thing?

i want a game that looks that good for my computer. i got sick of the trickery video on this laptop so i got a desktop too and put a 512mb PCIe16 nvidia card in it. and id like to see it actually bust its ass a little. i mean i play GTA:SA multiplayer on it and its the shit, but its hardly working to do that.

looks like that game would be awesome on the PC

Jackleg, I am thinking of trying to get a job at the Natural Science Center after I graduate! I wanna be a hands-on animal manager or something cool like that. I am also looking into the zoo.
