if this has already been covered link the thread i suppose

http://www.wsoctv.com/news/15467867/detail.html

not sure where this station is, i didn't look.

but the cops pulled some guy this weekend, he was driving the proverbial BLACK SUV. inside, the cops found shit like a radar gun, blue lights, a siren, video cameras, maps, duct tape, box cutters (allegedly to cut the tape, not people)... and get this shit. in the front/back windows (i forget which) there were decals/pins (like badges i guess) that were knock-offs of homeland security and the CIA

the kicker is that he says he is from the czech republic. which obviously makes him seem like he's in the russian mafia or some crazy shit and he had all that stuff so he could pull his enemies over and "arrest" them, then tape em up and kill em or something. all speculation, of course

heres another link:

"Milan Krivsky was charged with operating a vehicle resembling a law enforcement vehicle and possession of a blue light, said Trooper JJ Letcavage. Additional charges could follow. Krivsky was in Gaston County jail Sunday under a $1,000 bond."

so basically if he was about to pull some crazy shit/ had been pulling some crazy shit, he's already posted his tiny bond and skipped the country. haha

gonna be interesting to see if the feds get involved or what comes of this. only news item lately that i've actually cared a lot about

How the motherfuck does this guy get a thousand-dollar bond when I was in on five and out on ten for a bullshit "accessing computers" charge?

considering that the CIA doesnt even operate as a law enforcement agency, let alone in that capacity with lights and suvs and such

i doubt they're taking this guy seriously, anymore so than any other crazy foreigner being a dumbass

Wat? I thought you had to have the thing on before you could get in trouble for that.

Simply having the blue light in the car is illegal, it doesn't have to be visible.

A couple reasons why this guy is stupid: I'm pretty sure unmarked government SUVs are completely unmarked. They don't put any departmental decals on them. They also have U.S. government license plates.

From what I can tell, there's no law against having a radar gun or video cameras on the dash. Blue or red lights and sirens are illegal though. My crown vic has several antennas on the trunk, a CB radio, and a GPS screen on the dash, so some people could say it resembles a law enforcement vehicle, but I'm violating no laws. It's fun scaring the shit out of teenagers though.

CIA isn't a law enforcement agency, but they said he had a homeland security decal, which does have law enforcement powers in its subsidiary departments and agencies.

hahaha, my Daddy told me just this weekend about the time he and his friend were younger and driving his friend's Mom's new Dodge Dart. They had one of those old sirens that you put on the morotcycle tire, a mason jar full of blue water, and a spot light. They were doing 90 down 109 in Denton, Daddy had the siren on the tire, and another guy had the spot light on the jar of blue water flashing it. People used a 2 mile stretch of 109 for drag racing. They were just messing with everyone and they all freaked out thinking that it really was the cops. Considering the Dart could only do 90, they were left in the dust. Of course, times were different back then and no one ever got in trouble.
