I'd be careful buying it at a deep discount place

It's one thing if you buy some fucked up jeans...its another if your suitcase breaks open on the tarmac

Most department stores at the mall usually have a pretty good selection

and at least one of them will have a sale at any given time

if you buy samsonite and shit breaks due to wear and tear, they'll fix it for you at one of their licensed retailers for free

its not "nice" luggage or anything, but its pretty durable and quality for the price.

Checking out Macy's...they have this pretty nice set for over 50 percent off

Might pick up a couple

for checked luggage, it doesn't matter.

For carry-ons, yeah. 1qt zippy bag, with, at most, 3 4oz containers.

When the lines are long they ask you to pull that out first so a TSA guard can check it even before you go through the metal detectors. So have it in your hand or in an outside pocket.

i got dinged for having 2 4.2 oz jars of hair product once

they didnt buy the "well more than 0.2 ozs has been used" scheme.

I would stick with a brand that is predominantly a luggage company and not some designer sounding brand. Stay away from brands like Kenneth Cole or Pierre Cardin. You're going to get cheap Chinese shit that has a designer nameplate stuck to it.

That's cause the rules don't say '4oz'

it's '40z container'

I had a mostly empty 4.3oz perfume bottle I decided to check because of that

yeah i know the rules

after not having a problem with it being in a carry on for 19 flights

the 20th got me

thankfully it was the return trip, and as it turns out... it was in arizona and my bags sat in the car all day.. the contents were ruined anyways.

HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND
