Its probably a safer bet to relay your question through the proper channels rather than to a user name that hasn't made a post in the regular forums since February 12th.

Also, depending on his amount of familiarity with the forums and the project you have undertaken, it would probably have been better to write a more formalized note explaining what you have done rather than

'hey look what i did [link] you cool with it?'

so that he understands what the radio is, how it works, what it plays, etc.

"Going to the mattresses" is a mob expression that basically means "go to war." You rent out a couple of crappy apartments and fill them with mattresses, and these places then house all of your soldiers.
