^^ you know, aside from giving it to craigslisters, i'll never use it, either...and while google might very well charge for it in the future, i'm betting they won't charge current users, just new ones...so it can't hurt to get a few numbers in your pocket

i just logged in after a long time and see that my invites have disappeared. Help section says invites are currently disabled.

http://www.jaxtr.com is very similar and allows to you call international numbers for free too.
