after exactly 32 days.
(Purchased 2/3/08 @ 4:15pm)

It worked this morning before work, set it on the coffee table, went into work.
Got home today at around 4:30 and that bitch was broke as a motherfucker. Making noises like a two hundred dollar pickup truck and everything

Good news though. Called Sony up (Consumer Services
1-800-345-SONY (7669) ) and within fifteen minutes they offered to ship out a box for me to plop my busted one into and then just plug into the mailbox to wait for: either this one (repaired) or a duplicate (refurbished) [get this] completely free of charge

It was surprisingly easy.

I've gotten so used to the piles of bullshit from companies like Creative and their ilk, that I'm almost fucking giddy about this.

not even gonna bitch about it's short lifespan because honestly I'm rarely on the giving end of an "exceeded expectations" comment

It feels good. Pretty damn good.

got it back today. Gave me a brand new one. I don't know how I lasted that long
