doesn't pretty much every county have its own street in downtown raleigh? I'm from BFE county and we have a street.
Or I guess it might be more that every important dead person has a street named after them and that happens to correlate well with county names...

yeah, I got curious and looked it up. There arn't nearly as many county named ones as I thought.

And all the ones I've seen so far are named after the people like Bladen and Lenoir.
Interesting though that Edenton and Fayetteville streets were named after the towns. Whoever thought naming a street after Fayetteville was a good idea must have been a patient at Dorothea Dix.

did you know that avent ferry road originally stretched from downtown raleigh to the cape fear river in Harnett county
was named after the people that ran the ferry (iirc)
