Out of the seven teams playing on Thursday besides us, Miami and BC are the two teams I'd want the most, and we get Miami. And out of the 4 teams who got byes, Va Tech is the team I think we match up best with. We can beat Miami and Va Tech. It wouldn't surprise me to make it to Saturday one bit, we have absolutely nothing to lose. But UNC would lay a country woodshed beating on Saturday against us.

PS- I thought the triangle-and-two was where you shadowed two players with man, and played a triangle zone with the other three defenders. Given our team's basketball IQ, this wouldn't work in a million years though.

It normally is, but seeing how McClinton nearly beat State by himself last year, I say throw two on him.

And your right, not a chance in hell we actually play this scheme. But we have gone to a Box-and-one before ... maybe that would work?

They did win it last year, but overall, I'd say you're right.

Sure would be nice to see Wake knock them out on Friday. If their big white dude stays out of foul trouble, I'd say it's a possibility.
