heard he's gonna play the RBC this year also, but to hell with seeing him at an indoor show

the first time i ever saw him was at RBC in 2004. i didn't really like Buffett before that concert, but i've been a Parrothead ever since. indoors or not, he puts on an awesome show.

however, after seeing him outdoors in Tampa Bay this past november, i must say the outdoors show is by far the best choice.

it was 98. fucking great show. hard to believe it's been 10 years. i will make it to at least one of these, but i wonder how reliable the sources are. i find it hard to believe he's playing in charlotte, durham, AND raleigh in the same year. and especially wallace wade on a weekend. thats kind of a small venue for a buffett show on a weekend.

I don't recall saying a word about alcohol or drinking. It seems that that is how you assume a buffett show goes down. That's ignorant. Assuming everyone drinks there is the same as someone assuming everyone at the shows you like are on heroin or ecstacy (or whatever the trendy drug du jour is). I wouldn't make that leap about your shows anymore than I would a buffett show.
