Yeah, seriously. What the fuck is up with this website these days?

I constantly have to hit stop on the page and reload.

i have no problems. plus, when i'm on any computer besides my own, i don't check my email or log in to TWW or anything like that. in other words, i've surfed tww without my premium in effect and i still have no problems. i don't think that's a difference.

i do, however, use firefox with adblock/adblock plus and the filterset.g updater - also use noscript sometimes, but adblock usually takes care of any "malicious" javascript because it's related to ads a lot of the time.

if youre having problems, i definitely suggest trying firefox with those plugins. if you have problems installing them, just PM me or something. or i can post the links in this thread. the internet as a whole benefits from people blocking ads!

well im not going to pay to be premium for this to be fixed.

im just throwing it out there. i can live with it. but i thought there were more extensions to put on firefox.

ehh whatever

if you have xp, open Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS with notepad

add this to the bottom of the file and save it:

127.0.0.1 optimizedby.rmxads.com
127.0.0.1 yieldmanager.com

^ i blame it on that nasty system tray (j/k). seriously though, look into msconfig and turn most of that crap off.

I blame it on "connecting to ads.jolinko.com" or whatever it says in the pic.

It looks like they need to move the top advertisement into an IFrame like the bottom advertisement.

we are working on it. we've narrowed it down to two causes that we are trying to take care of today. thanks for the patience.

They seemingly are incapable of even fixing the fucking time, how in the fuck do you think they're going to fix this?

i dont understand why people go playing with msconfig just to disable tasks that are sitting open not using any resources at all.

i just looked at mine for the hell of it and i found 2 that i wanted to remove. apache from a httpd that i needed for a few weeks, and tbtray from when i was testing thunderbird. all the rest im keeping, even my adobe gamma loader and my quicktime pro quicklaunch!!1

anyways.

incorrect

i've seen computers completely unusable, especially ones with 512MB or less. after a few minutes in msconfig they could use their computer again. most non-pc people think its magic.

this has been happening frequently with me as well. IE7. have to refresh, then page loads immediately. it's usually on one of the forum pages instead of a particular thread.
