If Joe from Kansas has these thoughts in his head, then so be it because no one but him would ever know...but when public figures come out and say that, they are influencing people and actually there is a reason why there are punishments for breaking the law...and one of those punishments is shame and when you bring on the 'thoughts and prayers' and 'omg we feel so bad' then how the fuck is that gonna help deter someone in the future? I'm very in the middle when it comes to politics, but I find it disturbing that no one's 'thoughts and prayers' were with Senator Craig when he was with a prostitute.

you can't act like the gay thing didn't have ANYTHING to do with why there wasn't more "outpouring" being aired for craig. i'd say it was a lot more of the gay thing and a lot less of the conspiracy theory.
