dnl i think literally syrup or sizzurp or whatever they talk about in rap is what you're linking to. some kind of weaker stuff mixed with like sprite and etc etc.

i was under the impression that "syrup" was crushed up codine and sometimes xanax mixed in some sort of fruit soda (purple, orange, green, etc..)

yeah i think thats what its evolved to. but the "original" (mainstream) song, sippin on some syrup was talking specifically about tussionex at points.

cause it talked about hydrocodone and a yellow syrup in particular. as opposed to codeine/promethazine syrup, which is a lot weaker by itself.

but im not like trying to argue a side, im just calling it what i call it. haha

ha, at my last "group meeting" (kinda like AA), a guy asked me, "can you get any xanax?" - i was like "nah" - he was like "want some? and started shaking a bottle"
