ps - how the hell do you read arabic?

can you give me the example of how you'd sound that sign out? how many letters are in the alphabet, how many consonants sounds or whatever, etcs

Well, it's read from right to left, and the majority of the alphabet is close to the Roman alphabet.

So when they import brand names and such, they use their letters to say English words.
