i find that any game that takes longer than 1.5 hours to play is pushing ppl away most often. 3/15/2008 12:15:22 PM |

i've never played apples to apples with someone who wants to take it seriously
btw, the trump card for any apples to apples round is the Mike Tyson card
you play the Mike Tyson card and you're guaranteed to be picked 3/15/2008 12:19:18 PM |

I've played axis and allies on computer way back when. It does take a long time to play one game. 3/15/2008 12:32:35 PM |

i used to have the computer game version of the game. It was cool and you didnt have to set up and everything. The board game seems like a total bitch to deal with. 3/15/2008 1:18:09 PM |

board game is pretty sweet.
you won't ever play it in one sitting though, so don't even try. it'll have to sit on your table for weeks until you're all able to finish 3/15/2008 1:21:36 PM |

there's this one girl who plays apples to apples with me and a group, and she always has to win. If you don't choose her card, she has to tell why her card was a better answer than anyone else's. It's annoying. Sometimes she has to tell why hers as a joke was the funniest, and other times she has to tell why they really do go together. ITS UP TO THE PERSON WITH THE GREEN CARD!!!!! 3/15/2008 1:27:34 PM |

^^ The whole idea is that you argue for them before the choice, not after. Swaying the person with the green card is the point! 3/15/2008 1:35:31 PM |
