Not sure if anyone has any experience with this but I've run into a problem. Basically radio is the only thing that works. When I switch sources, all sound goes away. Anyone know what may be wrong? I disconnected the stock tape player and MID.

Does the D3 have independently controlled level inputs accessable through the menus? An old unit of mine allowed you to adjust the volume relative to the radio of all other inputs, and was possible to turn them off.

Are you running into the factory harness for speakers?

holla at me on aim daryl. I'm running a metra harness with only speaker level stuff I assume (it's all wires, goes into the stock harness) but there's another one in existance with rca jacks I found today. I think my amp switch wire might need to go some place else as the sound only works when the antenna would be up. I think the antenna signal is turning the amp on and off.

yeah, looks like the harness they gave me isnt the one I asked for, just really close. I wired the amp on from what was apparently the antenna up to the actual amp on spot and it works great. now I just can't figure out why the rear mids and tweeters aren't playing. everything else sounds great.
