There is already a way to open a page to a specific post as shown by this link:

There should be a small text reply link on every post, maybe near the date/time info. When clicked, it would go to the normal reply page but the window showing what you're replying to would already be opened to that post. Currently it opens at the first post of the thread.

The reply button at the top and bottom should be changed to open the subwindow at the place they were clicked on the same page.

That subwindow should be as close to 100% of the page width as possible. Scrolling is annoying.
