The working title for the project is still "Done One". Shooting wraps up this week and pictures and videos are slowly leaking out. Previews have been shown at select theaters and special events.

I still watch it on TNT from 2-6 in the morning on many a sleepless night

^^Cmon now...Angel is awesome, and similar shows in a way...just takes itself a little less seriously and the good guys have their own x-files

So according to IMDb, although this doesnt follow the mythology, it takes place 6 years after "The Truth"...really glad they didnt go with the "during season 7" idea that had been expected before. I could care less about the conspiracy, although I do want to know where these characters are now, rather than were.

(Although Id be down for a mythology movie for the third that dealt with the invasion to be released December 2012 )

I'll watch it on dvd. Never followed the actual storyline when it was on tv, just caught it on every now and then. Didn't really help that when i was younger the show always gave me nightmares!
Do you think you need to watch the 1st to get the 2nd? Cause i only saw bits and pieces of the first.

Mytharc episodes told the tale of a governmental conspiracy revolving around extraterrestrials.

Standalone or "Monster-of-the-Week" episodes dealt with paranormal creatures and situations, while generally being unrelated to the series mythology.

There were usually like 5-6 mytharc episodes per season IIRC

the nonmytharc episodes are by far my favorites, especially the ones where mulder and scully got flirty and it seemed almost comical

like the one with the two ghosts (lily tomlin and some other guy) in the house trap
