You're legally allowed to record phone conversations without the consent of the other party.

If I strategically planned it, could I record them offering a 1000$ shopping spree, ask questions that would make it a legally binding verbal agreement, and then take them to court shortly thereafter when they don't deliver?



I'm guessing someone else has already thought of this, so it would doubtfully work for me
